Electronic devices are in our pockets, our handbags and in our bodies. As more compelling use-cases emerge, they are slowly making their way into our clothing. There are many ways to integrate electronic technology into textiles and apparel, printed electronics being one of the most promising, versatile and elegant techniques.  What are the stand-out opportunities for textile-integrated electronics and what challenges do we still need to overcome? We'll look at what the textile industry has in common with the tech space and what it means to design electronic functionality on top of a system that already exists for thousands of years: clothing.
