Edward Cook is the president and founder of ECI Screen Print, a nationally recognized, award winning manufacturer of Industrial and OEM components, membrane switches, graphic overlays, labels, and other industrial graphics. He began his printing career as a pressmen right out of high school, moving up the ranks quickly within a local printing company into a management role as a result of his assiduous work ethic, technical ingenuity, and motivational leadership skills. Cook has extensive background in mechanical engineering, CAD design, technical drafting, and industrial printing.

Since its start in 1991 with only 400 sq. ft., Cook’s company, ECI, has grown into its current state of the art facility in Watertown, CT with now over 30 employees, including dedicated designers, pressmen, fabricators, assemblers, and printing industry professionals.

In addition to Cook’s own company, he is also involved in several organizations that are closely involved in graphic and printed electronic industries. Cook is Chairman of the Board of SGIA (Specialty Graphic Imagining Association) and has been involved for many years in Printed Electronics and Industrial Printing committees. He is also a member of GPI, the National Association of Graphic and Product Identification Manufacturers.

Cook is involved with his local community in Torrington as past President of the Torrington Historical Preservation Trust, Inc., which dedicates efforts that has helped preserve and rehabilitate historic sites throughout Torrington, CT. He is the Vice President of Five Points Gallery, a 501c3 Contemporary Art Gallery working to revitalize the community thru arts and culture experiences and foster awareness of the economic impact the arts have within our communities.
