| Recently, in-mold electronics (IME) gained a lot of attention, mainly due to the promise of thinner- and lighter-weight parts and less complex assembly processes. Advances in 3D-formable and injectio- moldable electronic materials are enabling IME applications to emerge, and there are already multiple user cases demonstrating the applicability of IME for backlighting, smart surfaces, and control panels for automotive interiors and appliances. |
